Comprehensive Care for Your First Visit
Paperwork
Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to complete. The paperwork will provide us with general information about yourself as well as your current and past health history.
If you would like to save some time and prepare the paperwork ahead of time please submit the intake form under Patient Resources, or you can show up to your appointment 15 minutes early to fill out the paper copy.
Exam
In order to determine what the actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, numerous specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and also to what magnitude.
Your specific condition might require us to request x-rays from an imaging center to eliminate more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you.
Home Instructions
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This could include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are given a complete overview of findings.
Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
